  5. Statement of Purpose How do your interests and background fit the program? What’s your motivation for going abroad? How this experience will enhance your academic or professional goals? How does your previous academic, work, and volunteer experience make you a stronger candidate? Any other benefits: geographical location, career plans, research interests or volunteer opportunities? Don’t make vague statements about the generic value of going abroad or the prestige of the program.
