  2. REFERENCIAL (Denotativa, cognitiva) OBJETIVO: o emissor vai transmitir informações. LINGUAGEM: objetiva (predomina a 3ª pessoa. FOCO: assunto, o referente.

  3. CONATIVA ou APELATIVA: OBJETIVO: Influenciar o receptor, o leitor. LINGUAGEM: imperativa, uso da 2ª pessoa (vocativo) FOCO: o receptor

  4. EXPRESSIVA ou EMOTIVA É a manifestação do sujeito, da subjetividade do sujeito. OBJETIVO: transmitir opiniões, sentimentos, emoções do emissor LINGUAGEM: subjetiva, pessoal (verbos na 1ª pessoal, interjeições); FOCO: emissor

  5. METALINGUÍSTICA Tem o código como instrumento de tradução do próprio código. OBJETIVO: Definir o sentido dos signos que não podem ser compreendidos pelo receptor. FOCO: código

  6. FÁTICA Faz a abertura, manutenção ou fechamento do canal de comunicação. OBJETIVO: afirmar, cortar ou manter a comunicação, testar o canal. FOCO: canal de comunicação (suporte físico) Obs: também está presente em textos dissertativos.

  7. POÉTICA ou ESTÉTICA OBJETIVO: Estabelecer relação da mensagem consigo mesma numa comunicação multissignificativa. LINGUAGEM: subjetiva, conotativa. FOCO: a mensagem.
