Herbarium. Comenius Project “ Forest Tales ” 2009-2011. Here there are some of the 2000 species of our territory. Fagus sylvatica in Italian “ faggio”. The wild Beech tree belongs to the family of the Fagaceaes. It is a plant that can easily reach the height of 25 - 30 metres.

  3. Fagus sylvatica in Italian “ faggio” The wild Beech tree belongs to the family of the Fagaceaes. It is a plant that can easily reach the height of 25 - 30 metres. Its leaves are oval. In autumn they change their color from green into orange or red-brown.
