  1. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Insights into the Bahraini Property Market from YourAmlak.com – a leading Real Estate Portal in Bahrain YourAmlak.com has revealed some interesting facts about the property market in Bahrain. For the first time, the company has disclosed key insights related to the dynamics of the industry. YourAmlak Bahrain officially launched in October 2015 and since then it has continued its steady growth across all key metrics - including website engagement and conversions on the website. Flats generate the most traction across Bahrain When compared to other types of properties, flats for rent apparently generate the most interest amongst visitors to the website. Visitors looking for rental flats amount to around 17% of the total traffic to the website. The second place goes to visitors looking for villas for rent - this amounts to about 8% of the total traffic to the website. "Rent" is a clear winner when compared to "Sale" Rental properties including flats, villas, shops, land etc make up a very large portion of the traffic to the YourAmlak Bahrain website (above 30% vs. 6% for properties for sale).

  2. We spoke to the Founder and CEO of YourAmlak who said, "Yes, flats are a fast moving category and there is lots of traction on the website when it comes to flats as opposed to villas etc. And it's understandable because almost 50% of the population seems to be non-locals - Arabs from other countries, Africans and Asians. " Omar also added that most of the traffic seems to be coming from Manama (around 80%) which is understandable since it's the Capital and also is the most density populated city in the country. The most popular rental areas seem to be Amwaj Islands, Juffair and Saar. Amwaj gets around 15% of the engagement on the website, whereas Juffair and Saar get around 12% and 11% of visitor interest. YourAmlak revealed that most of their visitors are between the ages of 25-34 (this makes up more than 30% of their visitors) and between the ages of 35-44 (which makes up over 22% of their traffic)

  3. Furthermore, the interest in the property market seems to be dominated by Males. The Statistics from YourAmlak's website suggests that a whopping 65% of their visits come from males whereas only 27% come from females (the remaining 8% being unknown). Each and every survey that has been run in the past year or so has suggested that more and more people are using their mobiles to find products and services on the internet. YourAmlak seems to be no different with over 75% of their searches originating on mobile devices. When asked about the future of YourAmlak, Omar said that the Company is growing in terms of traffic and listings day by day and there are soon going to launch in a number of countries including Jordan, Oman and Egypt with ambitions to add a whole range of new projects and real estate agents in each of the countries they are operating in.
