  1. Welcome to Oakland Catholic High School! Spirituality, Scholarship, Service

  2. FridayDecember 13 DAY 3 2nd Week of Advent

  3. Today is the last day for Eucharistic Adoration before Christmas.  All sophomore religion classes please go to the Chapel.  All are welcome to come and pray throughout the day.  "O Come Let us Adore Him!"  

  4. Any student who would like to sign up for Indoor Track can stop to see Coach Hahn in the cafeteria during lunch periods TODAY.

  5. Attention: Swim Team • No swim practice today ! There will be practice on Saturday at Chatham from 1-3pm.

  6. Freshman Basketball fell to NA in a 31-28 loss.Mackenzie Brickley had a team high 12 points and Sharon Grayson crushed the boards with 10 rebounds, Taylor Springer had the EAGLE Hustle award with 6 steals.

  7. OC Eagles lost to Butler last evening by a score of 35 – 40. • Taylor Renk was high scorer with 11 points.

  8. Hear ye, Hear ye, all whom are affiliated directly or indirectly to the Sci-Fi Fantasy Club! This Wednesday, December 18th, room 213, we will be holding a Holiday-themed meeting! For this special occasion, we will be hosting a christmas book exchange. Anyone can bring a book, it just has to relate to science fiction or fantasy themes. If you can't come to the meeting but would like to participate in the book exchange, just drop by room 213 and leave a book under the pink tree! Make sure to write down your name on a sheet of paper and deposit it in the box next to the tree, though!  • Have a great time and we hope to see you there!

  9. MASQUE Auditions • On Monday December 16 we will hold auditions for 9th and 10th grade girls and any boys who have never auditioned for Masque. This will start at 3:00. • On Tuesday we will hold auditions for girls in 11th and 12th grade and all other boys. • Thursday will be call backs.

  10. Christmas Dinner in the Café • Monday, December 16 • Pork Tenderloins • Fresh Mashed Potatoes • Green Beans • Dinner roll • Apple Crisp • Water or Tea • All of this for ONLY $5

  11. Beginning on Monday, December 16, you may wear Christmas socks and a Christmas sweater or sweatshirt with your uniform.

  12. SENIORS • Please bring your college letters to the Guidance Office.  All acceptances, waitlist, denial, and scholarship letters must be copied. • Thank You!

  14. Dress Down Day • Friday, December 13 • Cost $3 • Benefit – The ICE Fund

  15. MAPS: MAPS students if you received an email about Breakfast with Santa please be there between 8:00 and 8:30 and use the rear entrance of Lowe's AMC Movie Theater in the Waterfront. Wear your MAPS tshirt or a Christmas tshirt. Christmas hats are encouraged!  

  16. The Anatomy Club will hold its December meeting on Tuesday, December 17th after school in the Lecture Hall. The guest speaker will be Melissa, our school trainer. • Bring a soft drink. There will be food and T-shirts.
