  3. What is it? HACCP is a quality assurance system used in the Food Industry to ensure that food is safe to eat. The manufacturer will set up systems to identify where things could go wrong during production, then put control measures in place to try to prevent them from occurring.

  5. Quality Control This links to HACCP. It is a system where you check products at various key stages of production to make sure things have gone to plan. e.g. You may taste a sauce to check for seasoning You may check the temperature of chicken to ensure it is above 72° C
