  3. CAÍDAS EN EL ANCIANO • FRECUENTE CAUSA DE MUERTE: por todas las complicaciones que acarrea • HOSPITALARIAS: • Delirium • ITUs • Trombosis • A POSTERIORI: • OP, atrofia muscular, úlcera por presión • Estreñimiento • Trombosis • LA MÁS FRECUENTE:

  4. ÚLCERAS POR PRESIÓN • PATOGENIA: Presión tejido blando entre superficie externa dura y plano óseo Obstrucción capilares Necrosis piel Pérdida de sustancia

  5. FACTORES QUE CONTRIBUYEN… • Inmovilización prolongada y fuerzas de cizallamiento, fricción y roce • Humedad (incontinencias) • Pérdidas de sensibilidad • Problemas circulatorios (insuficiencia vasomotora, vasoconstricción crónica) • Déficits nutricionales (Vit C y proteínas)

PREVENCIÓN TRATAMIENTO Lavado con suero Desbridamiento Qº Cubrir con apósito semihúmedo de solución salina (no avanzadas por favorecer anaerobiosis) CULTIVO DE EXUDADO Y ATB VÍA SISTÉMICA(si fiebre o signos locales de infección) NORTON • RIESGO MÍNIMO O SIN RIESGO: >14 • RIESGO EVIDENTE: 12-14 • MUY ALTO RIESGO: 5-11 • CONTROL DE FACTORES PREDISPONENTES: • Cambios posturales y protección para aliviar presión • Buena higiene e hidratación de la piel • Estimular la circulación de la piel con movimientos pasivos (no masajear) • Adecuada alimentación
