  6. SCHEDULE END OF AUGUST TO MID DECEMBER. Last Week of August: Intro Week Typical weekly schedule: Studio: 12 hours per week- normally in the afternoons from 2-5pm. Seminars: 3 hours per week for each one of 3 Seminars- Classes either in the afternoon or morning.

CONTENT, CREDITS BUENOS AIRES: 15 CREDITS of classes required STUDIO : 6 CREDITS SEMINARS: HISTORY OF LATIN AMERICAN ARCH : 3 CREDITS (HISTORY/THEORY ELECTIVE) LATIN AMERICAN URBANISM: 3 CREDITS (URBAN THEORY ELECTIVE) BUILDING SYSTEMS 2: 3 CREDITS we might be able to offer one or two additional seminars in case you fulfilled your History/Theory or Urban Theory requirements, as general Electives: Sketching Seminar, Spanish Seminar

  8. VISAS ARGENTINA: TOURIST VISA-US CITIZENS DON’T NEED TO APPLY,OTHER NATIONALITIES MIGHT-CHECK WITH CONSULATE. ALL STUDENTS ENTER WITH A TOURIST VISA VALID FOR 3 MONTHS, RENEWED FOR ADDITIONAL 3 MONTHS WHEN EVERYONE RE-ENTERS FORM THE MID-SEMESTER TRIP TO BRASIL

  9. COSTS …costs are approximate as the currencies fluctuate…. BUENOS AIRES: RENT: $650/MO. $2680 FOOD: $1300 TRAVEL to Arg. From US AIRFARE $1200 TRIPS TO BRASIL, URUGUAY, ROSARIO, CHILE $1900 MISCELANEOUS(phone, entertainment,, supplies, visas etc) $1600 Total $8680 Tuition costs are the same as STL ($1642/unit-BUT you get remission and loans..)

  10. FINANCIAL AID Your present Financial Aid arrangement will apply. YOU NEED TO DISCUSS YOUR FINANCIAL AID PACKAGE WITH BOBBE WINTERS AND/OR BRIAN HIGGINBOTHAM

  11. SECURITY DEPOSIT We will require a non-refundable security deposit of $ 500 by February 15th. Please give your security deposit to Sandy Brennan.

  12. NEXT STEPS PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR INTENT TO PARTICIPATE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BY SUBMITTING YOUR NON REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT TO SANDY BRENNAN BEFORE OR BY FEBRUARY 15TH. FOLLOWING THAT, WE WILL ARRANGE MEETINGS WITH GROUP TO PLAN FOR TRAVEL , HOUSING, ETC.

  13. NEXT STEPS PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR ADVISORS AND MAKE SURE THAT YOU WILL NOT MISS ANY REQUIRED COURSES-SUCH AS DESIGN THINKING. START THINKING WHO YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE AN APARTMENT WITH- OR IF YOU PREFER TO LIVE WITH A FAMILY. PASS THAT INFORMATION TO ADRIAN ASAP-
