What is astrology? • Astrology refers to any of several traditions or beliefs in which knowledge of the apparent positions of celestial bodies is held to be useful in understanding, interpreting, and organizing knowledge about reality and human existence on earth.   3. Historical data… • Provided a calendar for the Babylonians relatively 3,500 years ago • By 600 BC the Babylonians devised the twelve-sign zodiac • The Greeks really perfected the system • Many cultures have a form of the astrology.

What is a horoscope? • The horoscope can be likened to a photograph of the solar system (geocentric perspective of the heavens) at the time of your birth from the place of your birth of the positions of the planets against the backdrop of Constellation configurations, or division of the equinox (areas of space).
