  17. Course Evaluations Online classes • Online evaluations are posted (as a “pop-up” in each class) 3 wks before the end of the semester • Students are given 3 prompts to complete an evaluation before being locked out of the course • If locked out, students must contact WebTycho Support

Course Evaluations Face-to-face classes • Paper evaluations are sent to all faculty 4 wks before the end of the semester --If not received, call Research & Evaluation @ 240-582-2755 • Faculty must read and follow all instructions about distributing and returning completed evaluation forms (within one week after the Semester or Term ends.)

  19. Final Exams / Activities Face-to-face classes A proctored graded activity must be administered by faculty in the classroom during the last weeks of the semester.

  20. Final Exams / Activities Online classes- I • A proctoredfinal exam is required for ALL online classes. • Students must register through ISIS online for an exam site & date during specified period: • May 24 – Jul 1

  21. Final Exams / Activities Online classes - II • Faculty must submit their exams according to FDES instructions and deadlines: • Jun 3 – Jun 16

  24. Student Focus - Grade of Incomplete • The grade of Incomplete (“I”) is given only in exceptional situations. Note that 60% of the coursework must be completed with a grade of C or better, and the student must request an Incomplete. • The instructor has the final decision to grant or deny the grade of Incomplete even if the student meets the above criteria.

  25. Student Focus - Grade of Incomplete • If an Incomplete grade is given, the student has up to 4 months to complete final work or the grade will convert to an F. (The instructor determines the deadline within that 4 months) • The 4 month limit was a change, effective in the Fall 04 Semester

  27. Student Focus - Grade of FN • The grade of FN is assigned when the student fails to participate in course assignments and activities but has not officially withdrawn from the class.
