  5. Diet • Snow shoe hares, mice, voles, grouse, ptarmigan, and red squirrel

  6. Life span • Lynx in the wild tend to live 10 to 15 years

  7. Threats Hunted and trapped for fur Now is protected from all hunting in the U.S except in Montana and Alaska

  8. More active at night than at daytime Now only live in Maine Minnisota Wyoming Oregon Idaho and possibly Michigan Prefer to live alone Interesting Facts
