Project aim • To take part in creative activity seeing the role of R&D teamwork in new - emerging technology implementation and commercialization • The general assumption for this project is that the group of studentshas an ambition to be a player on the market of new technologies. • To fulfill this vision there is necessary to have the best ideas. Bike must be strong and lightweight !!NANOCOMPOSITES • To make a reliable composite, covalent bonds must be present between the SWNTs and the polymer matrix. • This network will simultaneously provide stiffness and strength to the polymer, serve to dissipate heat, and provide an embedded electrical circuit for damage monitoring. Project Proposal • Students will be introduced to the main subject area with several lecture presentations and they also will be able to visit nonomaterial’s laboratory to attend the nanofabrication and diagnostic processes. • The ideas will appear after two - three „think-tank” sessions • The final result of the project will bea Concept Design or Feasibility Study of Nano-Bikeemploying carbon nanotubes Z.
