Local community online shopping • If you are a customer that has been shopping from your local area for years and then you start to buy goods from online this will affect your local area’s business. Their profit rates may drop and if its too bad and many people are using the online shopping system they could go out of business. Also online shopping saves a lot of money because you don’t need to waste it on travel purposes and it saves time, instead of going to the shop you can stay home and order straight from you computer at any time. This means that there are fewer customers in the shopping centre.

  3. Availability of jobs Online shopping • Through online shopping a mass of jobs can be dropped also jobs can be available. Local area jobs may be unavailable such as a shop were you can buy cd’s , music form etc. because their profits may be dropping also in because people buy music online now easier quicker and less time consuming.

  4. Inequality in broadband access • Broadband has helped many people over the years through communication in a bad way and good. The bad being cyber bullying and giving out false facts on Wikipedia and the good being easier to communicate rather than going to there house just ring them text or email. Also there are some people who cannot afford broadband this has an effect on them and there are the old people who might not be able to use the internet.

  5. Potential threats from the use of I.T • There many threats you can get form using I.T such as false information if you go on some wikis people can type in the wrong information which can lead you to the wrong side. Also cyber bullying is a very big threat on places like Facebook someone can make a fake account and no one will no who they are and can intimidate people and send cruel messages.
