  2. Virginia Mentoring Partnership Fall Campaign Goal- Raise $20,000 in new or returning funds from individuals and other sources by December 31, 2012

  3. Broad Campaign Goals: • 200 new touches by members of Board (10 per board member) • $1,000 per board member raised with staff assistance

  4. Campaign Tactics: • Amazing Raise-(September 19 -20) • General Campaign-(September 21-November 21) • Year-End Campaign-(November 21-December 31)

  5. Amazing RaiseSeptember 19 and 20 • Solicit friends, family, and colleagues for minimum donation of $50 through Amazing Raise (VMP staff to provide sample email text) • Like VMP on Facebook and share Facebook, Twitter and email messages provided by VMP staff • Total goal-Each Board member to solicit 5 peopleequates to $5,000 to be raised or 100 -$50.00 contributions • Materials can be found at vamentoring.org/board

  6. General CampaignSeptember 21-November 21 • Identify friends, family, and colleagues who might support VMP with gifts of $100-$250 • Utilize letters for mail or email (VMP staff will provide) • Follow-up letters with phone-call or email • Consult with VMP staff on any pledges/commitments • Review existing list of VMP donors and identify those you have relationships with • Total goal-Each Board member to solicit 2.5 peopleequates to $10,000 to be raised or 50 -$200.00 contributions (avg)

  7. Year End CampaignBy December 31 • Consult with VMP staff to identify list of individuals, businesses, faith community and civic contacts that could be solicited for gifts above $250 • Work closely with staff to ensure that strategies are tailored to each of your contacts • Total goal-$ 5,000 or 5 gifts of $1,000 or more

  9. 2013 Annual Awards LuncheonSponsorship Opportunities • Platinum - $10,000.00 • Participation in awards event • Prominent mention in all PR and outreach material • Full table (seats 8) at event • Recognition in event program cover and signage • Company logo on sponsorship loop during event and on website with link to company website • Recognition in VMP annual report, e-newsletter • Gold - $7,500.00 • Prominent mention in all PR and outreach material • Seating (4) at event • Recognition in event program back cover and signage • Company logo on sponsorship loop during event and on website with link to company website • Recognition in VMP annual report, e-newsletter • Silver - $5,000.00 • Prominent mention in all PR and outreach material • Seating (4) at event • Recognition in event program and signage • Company logo on sponsorship loop during event and on website with link to company website • Recognition in VMP annual report, e-newsletter • Nonprofit Sponsor - $350.00 (table of 8) • Recognition in VMP annual report, e-newsletter. • Individual Seat - $50.00
