This acts as a database finding tool • The green gives you detailed information about that database including beginning of coverage 資料庫名稱旁的 提供資料庫的簡介及收錄範圍

KeyCite • KeyCite 提供強大的引用檢索服務 • 藉由 KeyCite，您可瀏覽案例、法令、行政命令等等的歷史，以幫助您決定法律的有效性，並取得引用資料。 • KeyCite 除了包含收錄於West’s National Reporting System 的所有案例外, 也收錄了一百多萬篇未公開的案例；另外聯邦法令、聯邦及州行政命令、美國專利及700多種法律期刊等等，也在收錄之列。 • KeyCite 資料不但準確，而且更新迅速。與案例有關的最新資料都在收到註解後一到四小時上線 • 以獨特的符號作註記，包括status flags, depth of treatment stars, 以及 quotation marks，幫助您迅速的評估引用資訊。

KeyCite • 紅旗（red flag）：在案例中出現的紅旗，代表該案件所表示之法律見解中，至少有一個以上不再是目前所接受之見解。而在法令條文中出現的紅旗，代表該條法令曾在近期立法中被修正或廢止。 • 黃旗（yellow flag）：在案例中出現的黃旗，代表該案件曾出現某些相反的判決歷史紀錄，但該判解仍未被駁回或廢止。 • 藍H（blue H）：藍色H出現時，代表該案件曾發生一些非負面的判決歷史紀錄或沿革。 • 綠C（green C）：綠色C出現時，代表該案件曾有引用其他資料，但並無直接的歷史紀錄。 • 綠星（Treatment stars）：綠色星星的數量表示相關程度（Depth of Treatment），被引用案件前方出現越多綠色星星，表示該被引用案件在引用案件中被討論的越廣泛、越有深度。（相關度最少一星，最多四星） • 紫引號：紫色引號表示本案直接引述被引用案件於其中。
