  3. Consumer Advisory Committee • Funded through the ADD Technical Assistance Contract with AUCD • Led by Joe Caldwell, 2005 AUCD Policy Fellow • Provide support to the UCEDDs regarding CACs

  4. Participatory Action Research • Funded through National Training Initiative Grant awarded to Oregon Health and Sciences UCEDD • Angela Weaver, Project Director • Responding to call from self-advocates to include people with developmental disabilities in UCEDD research activities

  5. ?? REGARDING CAC: How could the themes in this report be used by your UCEDD to develop assessment tools to better determine the individual support needs of each CAC member? How could the themes in this report be used by your UCEDD to create ways for the CACs to self-evaluate their effectiveness? How has your UCEDD provided financial resources to support the CAC in addition to core funding? How would you develop guidelines on the extent of resources devoted to CACs? ?? REGARDING PAR: What specific roles have family members and people with disabilities filled on research projects at your UCEDD?  To what extent are PAR strategies USUALLY included in the research or inquiry efforts across your UCEDD?  What would help researchers at your UCEDD use PAR more effectively?
