  2. Budget headlines • £468,000 available – same as last year’s base budget • to be spent at Assembly Members discretion, according to priorities set out in the Community Plan • Funding must be spent within the financial year 2011-12 • Initial allocation - £450,000

  3. Principles • £100,000 reserved for Assembly-wide projects • £368,000 divided between wards on the basis of population Southey £79,500 [21.6%] Shiregreen/Brightside £83,500 [22.7%] Burngreave £108,500 [29.5%] Firth Park £90,500 [26.2%]

  4. Assembly-wide allocations £10,000 Improving parks and green spaces £10,000 Reducing health inequalities £36,000 Getting people into work £32,000 Communication and consultation £12,000Reserved for future allocation

  5. Allocations common to all four wards £10,000 Rapid Response / Quick Wins £3,000 Community Chest top up £21,000 30 hour Activity Sheffield worker
