  2. De Ferrers and the IBDP – Why? Complements other routes – AS/A2, BTec, Applied AS/A2, L2. Personalised curriculum. Another pathway. A group of (organised/able) students for whom the IBDP would be ideal. Concerns over the direction of post 16 qualifications. Holistic nature of the DP. University preparation/recognition. A lot was already in place – Resources, staffing, CAS. No prescribed direction post – 16. Profile of the College. Increased impetus of International Mindedness – ethos. Staff – new opportunities.
