North Carolina Support Past and Present Past Paid the $2,500 assessment fee Provided up to three days of paid professional leave Provided 15 CEUs for completion of the process Paid salary differential of 12% of base salary Present Lend the $2,500 assessment fee Provide up to three days of paid professional leave Provide 15 CEUs for completion of the process Pay salary differential of 12% of base salary

Federal Subsidy Funds NBPTS grant awarded by the U.S. Department of Education Funds are available for teachers who are paid with federal funds Federal payment is half of the assessment fee Applicant must pay the first $500 before the federal subsidy funds can be applied Remaining balance paid by the applicant
