Federal Subsidy Funds NBPTS grant awarded by the U.S. Department of Education Funds are available for teachers who are paid with federal funds Federal payment is half of the assessment fee Applicant must pay the first $500 before the federal subsidy funds can be applied Remaining balance paid by the applicant
