  2. Focus Question What would it be like if everybody was equal in everything (strength, agility, looks, and intelligence)?

  3. Summary The year was 2081. Everybody was equal in every way. No matter smarts, looks, strength, or agility, it was all the same for everybody. All this was because of the 211th, 212th, and 213th amendments to the constitution, and United States Handicapper General enforced these laws.

  4. Summary con’t Everybody who was smart had to wear radio-transmitters on their ears to disrupt their thinking, everybody who was strong had to wear weights around their necks according to how strong they were, and everybody who was good looking had to wear masks or ugly accessories to hide their beauty.

  5. Summary con’t Hazel and George recently got their 14-year-old son taken away. He was taken to a prison by the H-G. Hazel and George were watching TV when it was announced that their son had escaped from jail. He fled to a ballerina show and ripped off his handicaps. A beautiful ballerina stood up to be his empress. He took of her handicaps as well and they both were kissing and dancing.

  6. Summary con’t As they were dancing, the handicap general came in and shot both of them. The H-G threatened to put a bullet through the brain of anybody else who didn’t have their handicaps on in the next ten-seconds. Hazel saw all of this on TV. After about twenty seconds, she forgot about what happened because of her low intelligence. Her and George will never remember it again.
