Visibility and accessibility Accessibility • SciELO: Scientific Electronic Library Online (www.scielo.br) • Financed by the State of Sao Paulo Science Agency (FAPESP) and PAHO (Pan American Health Organization) • SciELO covers 131 Brazilian Journals in the Sciences and Humanities. The software is available free to other countries. • SciELO – Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Jamaica, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, Spain, Uruguay, Venezuela are part of an integrated on line library

  2. Brazilian Journal of Medical and Biological Research • Published montly • Manuscripts submitted 400 / year • Manuscripts published 200 / year* • Reviews 2-3 / paper * 2 to 4% of Brazilian scientific production cited in JCR from 1993 to 2003.
