About Saivite Middle School “The Saivite Middle School” at 6/37, Venkier street, Kondithope, Chennai – 79 affiliated to the State Govt of Tamilnadu, started in 1907 is stepping into the glorious 100th year. The school has classes upto the 8th standard (Tamil Medium) and was about to be closed down, not able to bear the maintenance cost. Helptolive (www.helptolive.org) took a bold step and adopted the school. Helptolive decided that the 272 poor students, residing in the slums near by should not be curbed of the right to be educated. FREE education is provided to all of them.
