Study of the book of Revelation • The Last thing that has happened! – Chapter 14:1-20 • The conclusion of the tribulation period: • Many are saved and many are lost! • The tribulation period ends with the war involving humanity that will end all wars – ARMAGEDDON a.k.a. Christ treading the winepress of God’s wrath! 14:19, 20. (Not to be confused with the place called Armageddon – 16:16)

The study of the book of Revelation • Seven Angels with Seven Plagues – Chapter 15 • The completion of the “Wrath of God” punishment of god-less humanity and Satan and the Agents of evil is getting ready to begin! • vv. 2-4, John sees the souls of those who have not been overcome by the Beast, its image or the mark! Remember, although the church has long been “raptured”, there are still many who will have the “opportunity” to receive salvation. It will not be as easy as when you and I were saved!

  4. Study of the book of Revelation • The “Song of Moses and of the Lamb” – vv. 2,3 • A reflection of past and current victory. A celebration of the redemptive work of God throughout the history of the humanity who has served, disobeyed, and needed God and his Servant-Leaders.

  5. Study of the book of Revelation • Vvs. 5-8, Wrath of God from the House of God! • It is ironic that at this point, the place, where you could come for love, forgiveness, and protection is now, after the rapture of the church, the place from which the wrath of God will now be poured out!

Study of the book of Revelation • Chapter 16 – The Seven Bowls of God’s Wrath • 1st – v. 2, Wrath against the people who took on the mark of the beast and worshipped the image. • 2nd– v. 3, Wrath against EVERY living thing in the sea. remember THE 2nd Trumpet of Chapter 8 only destroyed a third of the sea life. Judgment and wrath is now becoming global in effect

Study of the book of Revelation • 3rd – vvs. 4-7, Wrath against all of the rivers and springs of water to be affected, the evil spilled and shed the blood of the innocent, now they shall be made to drink it (blood). • As horrible as these Wraths are, they are celebrated from the Altar of God, for what happens now is deserved! JUSTICE!

Study of the book of Revelation • 4th – vvs. 8-9, The sunlight shall scorch the people, and even as they suffer and many die, they will still not repent; they would even curse God, who has control over these plagues! • 5th – vvs. 10-11, This wrath will be against the Beast (the god-less world leader), personally and his kingdom itself.

  9. Study of the book of Revelation • Even while suffering, The Beast (god-less world leader) and those who follow him will refuse to repent and will curse God! They will suffer greatly at this point, but this is not their end yet.

  10. Study of the book of Revelation • 6th – vvs. 12-14, This wrath prepares the way for the ONLY battle between God and Satan, his earthly followers and his unholy trinity (Dragon, Beast, and False Prophet). • The People (humans) left who have refused to accept Christ and obey God will now be deceived into believing that they can actually fight God and win!

Study of the book of Revelation • Verse 15, Even in the middle of all of this evil and destruction, Jesus wants the world to know that He is still to return and it would be wise and “Blessed” to be aware (awake), ready and not be found unsaved or unprepared or “naked” or “exposed”. • Even in the middle of this Revelation to John for the Church, Jesus still wants us all to be mindful of the truth of his return. This message is in real time for the present and it is prophetic for the future at the same time!

  12. Study of the book of Revelation • Armageddon – the usage is relative to the IDEA of the FINAL battle, not the Battle of Armageddon WITH THE RESULTS SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED IN REVELATION 14:19, 20).

  13. Study of the book of Revelation • 7th – vvs. 17-21, The closing (not the Last) of Judgment from God! • The World will quake as never before – v. 18 • All of the pride of God-less humanity will be broken – vvs. 19, 20 • Tremendous suffering brought about by God will still not change the hearts of Humanity against God!
