  4. Classroom Assignments Students are to report to their Advisory Class.

  5. How To Prepare Before The Examination

  6. Classroom Set-Up All desk should face forward in straight lines. If possible, allow space for you to be able to walk back and forth between aisles.

  7. Counting Exams, Test Booklets, and Pencils Make sure you have all of your supplies prepared before students enter the classroom

  8. What is Prohibited • Any electronic device • Any portable listening or recording device • Cameras • Pens, mechanical pencils, highlighters, or colored pencils • Scratch paper, notes, books, dictionary or references • Earplugs, compass, protractor, ruler • Any beverage (including water)

  9. What Students Can Use Calculators are allowed with the exception of: • Phone calculators • Talking calculators • Type that needs to be plugged in • Large displays (characters of 1 inch or more)

  11. Proctoring the Exam The Floor Is Your Stage

  12. Instructions Make sure you read aloud all the directions printed in bold within the boxes. You are not allowed to skip anything.

  13. What to Do After Reading the Instructions in the Third Box • “You will now receive a test book and an answer sheet….” (8). As you distribute the material make sure no one opens a test book until told to do so

  14. Working the Room • “Print your name clearly on the front of your test book…” (9). • Section 1 “…Enter your name*, last name first, and fill in the appropriate circles carefully. Make sure each mark is dark and completely fills the circle” (9). WALK AROUND THE ROOM TO MAKE SURE IT IS BEING DONE CORRECTLY

Testing Schedule Divided By the Five Sections • 9:05 – 9:40 AM STUDENT DEMOGRAPHICS/DIRECTIONS • 9:40 – 10:05 AM SECTION 1 • 10:05 – 10:30 AM SECTION 2 • 10:30 – 11:00 NUTRITION • 11:00 – 11:25 AM SECTION 3 • 11: 25 – 11:50 AM SECTION 4 • 11:55 – 12:25 PM SECTION 5 • 12:30 – 12:45 PM COLLECT TEST MATERIALS

  18. Timing the Exam by Sections The sections must end at the exact time given Section 1 Example 10:05 AM

  19. Collecting the Answer Sheet and Test Books Collect the answer sheet and then test books individually from each student DO NOT ALLOW STUDENTS TO PASS FORWARD OR COLLECT ANYTHING EXCEPT PENCILS Count the materials to make sure you have received everything

  20. ID INFORMATION MAKE SURE STUDENTS HAVE COMPLETED THE ID INFORMATION CORRECTLY

  21. BUBBLE TROUBLE IT IS CRITICAL TO CHECK THAT NAMES, SCHOOL CODES AND GRADE LEVELS HAVE BEEN FILLED IN CORRECTLY TO ENSURE ACCURATE REPORTING

  22. Something Is Amiss!!!! Report any unusual circumstances, irregularities, or defective test books to the college counseling team, Mr. Ball, or Ms. Edwards before, during, or after the examination

  23. Discipline Mr. Ball will monitor the hallways while students are taking the exam. If you have a behavioral issue, text him and he will get the student.
