  2. What is Cubism Cubism is the art of drawing using your minds eye, doing that is like drawing a picture but instead of making it realistic you draw simple geometric shapes next to each other and creating the picture that way.

  3. The Beginning of Cubism Cubism started in the early 20th century, it all started with two famous artists George Braque and Pablo Picasso. They worked next to each other in the studio all day. For some time you couldn’t even tell the difference in their work it was indistinguishable. The 1900 had many of there paintings improving through time.

  4. Pablo Picasso Pablo Picasso was a French artist, to me he drew paintings and pictures based on how he feels and when he draws those things he has a certain period where he continued drawing similar paintings throughout a time period.

  10. Who Inspired The Artist I believe that Pablo Picasso’s friend Georges Braque inspired him to start painting in this form. I personally think think that this style of art isn’t my favorite because I like the more realistic forms of art. The cubism period makes me feel like its all about the basic shapes in art and I like detail in work and using detail in an abstract piece of work is quite difficult.

  11. Difference This style is different because it only uses the basic shapes of the object or person you see. Although in the realistic way of drawing you had to use details and try to capture what you see on paper. For example if I were to try and draw my flowers and necklace in a cubist way it would look completely different for example all the detail I worked so hard on wouldn’t be there and it would be more simple.
