  5. Ephesians 4:26-27 "In your anger do not sin": Do not let the SUN GO DOWN while you are still ANGRY, 27 and do not give the DEVIL a FOOTHOLD.

  6. James 1:19-20 My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and SLOW TO BECOME ANGRY, 20 for MAN'S ANGER DOES NOT BRING ABOUT THE RIGHTEOUS LIFE THAT GOD DESIRES.

  12. 1. Overlook the offence Proverbs 19:11 A man's wisdom gives him patience; it is to his glory to OVERLOOK AN OFFENSE.

  13. 2. Discussion Matthew 18:15 (also Matt 5:23-24) If your brother sins against you, GO AND SHOW HIM HIS FAULT, JUST BETWEEN THE TWO OF YOU. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over.

  14. 3. Mediation and arbitration Matthew 18:16 But if he will not listen, TAKE ONE OR TWO OTHERS ALONG, so that 'every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.'

  15. 4. Trusting God to vindicate you Psalm 17:2 May my VINDICATION COME FROM YOU; may your eyes see what is right.
