  2. FAITH • Only follow Allah-the God

  3. PRAYER • Must pray five times a day towards Mecca (the Holiest city for Muslims).

  4. ALMS • A tax that is used to help the poor

  5. FASTING • A time during Ramadan that Muslims do not eat from morning to night. Muslims do this to "remind themselves that their spiritual needs are greater than their physical needs." • They eat a basic meal in the evening

  6. PILGRAMAGE • Hajj or a Muslims travel to Mecca.

  7. OTHER OBLIGATIONS • Muslims cannot eat pork or drink alcohol. • They worship on Fridays. • There are no priests, Muslims worship independently. • They must carry out the laws called the Shari'a. • Muslims also must obey the Holy Book -the Qur'an.
