  2. TEMA 4 : LA AMAZONÍA Y LA ANTÁRTIDA COMO RESERVA DE LA BIODIVERSIDAD * LA AMAZONIA PERUANA: Tiene una extensión aproximada de 736 445 km (cuadrados), alberga alrededor de 4 millones de habitantes, incluyendo a 65 grupos étnicos nativos.

  3. * LA ANTÁRTIDA: También conocida como el “ CONTINENTE BLANCO” es una masa de tierra que ocupa la región del Polo Sur y tiene una extensión de aproximadamente, 14 millones de km (cuadrados). Dicha área esta cubierta por una masa de hielo flotante.

  4. Importancia de La Amazonía •Se dice que la Amazonía es “El pulmón del mundo” porque al ser la mayor selva del planeta es la que mas importancia tiene en la Conservación de los gases de la atmósfera.•También es importante porque mantiene el equilibrio de los climas del mundo, Por lo tanto tiene una gran importancia ecológica.

  5. Importancia de La Antártida • Es importante por ser reserva de enormes recursos naturales especialmente: petróleo, carbón, hierro, que pueden aplacar el hombre en la humanidad.•Aparte de ser regulador climático se dice que su ecosistema es el más puro de la Tierra y contiene la mayor acumulación de agua potable.
