  2. This was the most immediate cause of the Great Depression.

  3. Stock Market Crash

  4. This president believed in rugged individualism and hence provided no direct relief to the poor.

  6. Although he had no specific plans for fighting the Great Depression, this man was elected President in 1932.

  7. FDR

  8. The New Deal attempted to deal with this fundamental problem of the farmers.

  9. Overproduction

  10. FDR attempted to “pack” this in order to prevent his New Deal reforms from being declared unconstitutional.

  11. Supreme Court

  12. This act paid subsidies to farmers and was declared unconstitutional.

  14. This prevented people from losing money they deposited in the bank; it still exists today.
