SeeChange 2.0 Design • SeeChange 2.0 is designed using portal approach • There are three main portal pages • MySeeChange • Shipments • Orders • Within each portal are portlets such as the search windows. • The user can personalize the look and feel of each portal using the Personalize function.

  4. Logging In • To log in to SeeChange 2.0 use the following URL: http://www.seechange.com/SeeChange/index.jsp Check box to remember your password on the computer you are using Enter user name and password (both are case sensitive) to log into the application

  5. Search by Shipment #

  6. Search by Shipment • To search by a shipment or what is included in the shipment the user will use one of the following portlets • Quick Search • Allows the user to search quickly using specific information • Ocean Shipment Search • Allows the user to perform an ocean specific search with more parameters

  7. Search by Shipment - Example • We are going to search using the following pieces of information • Port of Loading: Shanghai, CN • Port of Discharge: San Pedro, CA • Final Destination: Austin, TX • We will use the Ocean Shipment portal window to search using the provided information

  9. Example – Shipment Explorer The shipment explorer displays the results of the search. To view the details of the shipment click on the Shipment #

  10. Example – Details - Deliveries The Shipment Details – Deliveries page displays the details of the equipment included in the shipment. To further explore the shipment click the explorer tab

  11. Example – Details - Explorer The Shipment Details – Tree Explorer page allows the user to explore what was in the shipment. To view the events associated with the shipment click the events tab

  12. Example – Details - Events The Shipment Details – Events page displays the events associated with the shipment. To view the references associated with the shipment click the events tab

  13. Example – Details - References The Shipment Details – References page displays the references associated with the shipment. To view the related orders to the shipment click the related orders tab

  14. Example – Details – Related Orders The Shipment Details – Related Orders page displays the related orders to the shipment.

  16. Search by Order • To search by a shipment or what is included in the shipment the user will use one of the following portlets • Quick Search • Allows the user to search quickly using specific information (this feature works ONLY for customers who send EDI 850 i.e. PO details to APL Logistics) • Order Search • Allows the user to search by order specific information (this feature works ONLY for customers who send EDI 850 i.e. PO details to APL Logistics) • Ocean Shipment Search • Allows the user to search by shipments that have specific order #

  17. Search by Order - Example • We are going to search using the following pieces of information • Order #: 12* • This will return all orders that begin with 12* • We will use the Ocean Shipment Search portal window to search using the provided information

  18. Example – Order Search To search by Order # enter the order # and click Run Search Supplier Order # Run Search

  19. Example – Shipment Explorer The order explorer displays the results of the search. To view the details of the shipment click on the shipment # Shipments containing Order # beginning with 125*

  21. Search by Container • To search by a container the user will use one of the following portlets • Quick Search • Allows the user to search quickly using specific information • Order Search • Allows the user to search by order specific information

  22. Search by Container - Example • We are going to search using the following pieces of information • Container #: APLU* • This will return all orders that begin with APLU • We will use the Quick Search portlet to search using the provided information

  23. Example – Quick Search - Container To search by Container # choose the Container # option from Quick Search by drop down box. Then enter the Search Value and click Run Search Container # Run Search

  24. Example – Content Explorer The Content Explorer displays the results of the search. To view the equipment details click on the Equipment #. You can also view the shipment details by clicking on the Bill of Lading #.

  25. Example – Details - Explorer The Content Details – Explorer page displays the equipment details and allows the user to drill down to the product.

  27. Search by Product • To search by a product the user will use one of the following portlets • Quick Search • Allows the user to search quickly using specific information • Order Search • Allows the user to search by order specific information

  28. Search by Product - Example • We are going to search using the following pieces of information • Product #: 2X33* • This will return all orders that begin with 2X33* • We will use the Quick Search portal window to search using the provided information

  29. Example – Quick Search - Product To search by container choose the Product # option from Quick Search by drop down box. Then enter the Search Value and click Run Search Dell Part # Run Search

  30. Example – Content Explorer The Content Explorer displays the results of the search. To view the Product Details click on the Product #. You can also view the Order Details by clicking on the Order #, the Equipment Details by clicking on the Equipment # and the Shipment Details by clicking on the Shipment #.

  31. Example – Details - Explorer The Content Details – Explorer page displays the Product Details.

  32. Personalization

  33. Personalize • SeeChange allows users to personalize several things • Portal Layout • Available Portlets • Change Skins • The personalize SeeChange click on the Personalize link in any one of the portals.

  35. Example – Personalize Portal This is the Personalize portal page which allows the user to customize all of the portals. Click the layouts button to change and the layout of the portal, click the portlets button to add or remove portlets from a portal or click the Select Skins link to change the skin.

  36. Example – Portal Layout The portal layout page allows the user to change the layout to a 2 column or 3 column layout. Once the selection is made click save.

  37. Example – Portlets The portlets page allows the user to add more portlets from the available portlets, remove portlets and change the order of the existing portlets. Once the user is done click save to save the changes
