Spain… United States… Breakfast – between 6 am and 9 am Hearty for some Light for others “eggs and bacon” Lunch – Noon Again, Hearty “sandwich” Dinner – between 5pm and 7 pm One more heavy meal “steak and potatoes” • El Desayuno: Morning • Light meal (Coffee and milk, rolls with jam) • Tapas: Little snack between breakfast and lunch • La Comida: Between 1:30 and 3:30 • 2 dishes • One hearty dish (big flavors) • La Merienda - Snack between lunch and dinner • Especially important to children • La Cena – dinner (9-12) • Very light • After dinner • Possibility • 4 am • Churro stand? Or Chocolate drink?
