  1. THE HOOFBringing Vanderhoof Youth Closer to ChristApril 2012 Want to know how to pray? Do you pray to God now? We hope you already talk to God, but we are learning about prayer during our Wednesday night fellowship time, and we hope you can join us. We’ve already learned that you can pray to God when you are sitting up, lying in bed, or even hopping on one foot! God wants us to have a relationship with him, and the best way to do that is to TALK TO HIM. The bible says that we should pray without stopping (I Thessalonians 5:17). That means we should always think about God and have a continuing conversation with him. He’s never too busy or too tired. He always wants to hear from us. God wants to know what we think, how we feel and anything that’s important to us is important to him. So remember to pray for your family, friends, pets and anything else you want to. And remember, most importantly, to THANK GOD for all the wonderful things He does for you. Even when you don’t realize it, God is working to strengthen you and make you into the person He wants you to be. Come join us on Wednesday nights as we learn more!!

  2. Jesus Taught Us How to Pray (To the tune of "Jesus Loves Me.”)
Jesus taught us how to pray, to God our Father everyday;
Morning, noon, and night-time, too, we can pray and so can you.
Yes, we can pray! Yes, we can pray!
Yes, we can pray; to God through-out the day. http://www.dltk-bible.com/ jesustaughtushowtopray.html Bible Verses: Here’s a few verses to memorize… (Remember 20 verses = Vanderhoof Jacket) And this is the promise which He Himself made to us: eternal life.
