ELI 10 ECG RECORDER. ATTACH LEADS TO ELI 10. TURN UNOIT ON BY PRESSING POWER BUTTON AT BOTTOM LEFT OF KEY PANEL. POWER BUTTON. PRESS F1 AT TOP RIGHT OF SCREEN PATIENT DEMOGRAPHICS SCREEN WILL APPEAR. TO ENTER PATIENT DEMOGRAPHICS USE : ENTER, TAB OR F1 / F2 BUTTONS TO SCROLL TO NEXT OPTION.

  2. ATTACH LEADS TO ELI 10

  3. TURN UNOIT ON BY PRESSING POWER BUTTON AT BOTTOM LEFT OF KEY PANEL POWER BUTTON

  4. PRESS F1 AT TOP RIGHT OF SCREENPATIENT DEMOGRAPHICS SCREEN WILL APPEAR TO ENTER PATIENT DEMOGRAPHICS USE : ENTER, TAB OR F1 / F2 BUTTONS TO SCROLL TO NEXT OPTION ENTER PATIENT DEMOGRAPHICS WITH LAST NAME OF PATIENT FIRST TYPE EITHER F OR M TO ENTER PATIENT GENDER ONCE COMPLETED PRESS F6 BUTTON (DONE)

BY PRESSING F6 BUTTON SCREEN IS RETURNED TO REAL TIME ECGEXAMINE THE DISPLAY FOR ARTEFACT OR BASELINE DRIFT THEN PRESS THE AUTO BUTTON PRESSING AUTO BUTTON WILL RESULT IN THE FOLLOWING: Capture of tracing Analysis of tracing ECG saved to patient file Once opposite steps have been completed the word ”DONE ” will be displayed at bottom of screen

  6. TO TRANSMITT ECG PUSH XMT BUTTON To view different leads press F2 By pressing “ XMT BUTTON” connection the Telstra will occur and ECG will be transmitted to Cardioscan.

  7. Once XMT has been activated the screen will show a number of steps as it connects to Telstra and Cardioscan then downloads ECG. Connection to Telstra shown Once ECG transmitted, screen shows “transmission complete” Download is shown in number of bytes being transmitted Shows number of ECG’s transmitted

  8. ONCE DOWNLOAD COMPLETE PRESS ESCAAPE BUTTON THENF6 BUTTON (DONE) By pressing F6 this will return screen to initial opening screen By pressing escape button this will return to Patient ECG tracing

  9. ONCE COMPLETE AND SCREEN RETURNS TO OPENING SCREEN YOU CAN EITHER TURN ELI10 OFF OR ACCESS PATIENT FILE

  10. TO ACCESS PATIENT ECG FILE ONCE TURNED ON PRESS F1 BUTTON TO BRING UP DIRECTROY ACCESS BUTTON IF ELI 10 NOT ALREADY ON TURN ON AT POWER BUTTON

  11. TO ACCESS PATIENT LIST List of patient ECG’S Note: “T” beside name indicates ECG transmitted “TX” beside name means ECG deleted after transmission “X only” beside name means deleted and no transmission Push F5 (Directory)to access patient file list

  12. TO SELECT REQUIRED PATIENT Use “F1” to navigate down list and “Shift F2” or “Space Bar” to move back to top of the list Once selected press “”XMT” and transmission of ECG will commence

  13. Once XMT has been activated the screen will show a number of steps as it connects to Telstra and Cardioscan then downloads ECG. Connection to Telstra shown Once ECG transmitted, screen shows “transmission complete” Download is shown in number of bytes being transmitted Shows number of ECG’s transmitted
