In Spain there is now a drought. Planting of crops that are heavily irrigated. Water intensive use on golf courses. These all are ways we use to much water!. . Water that we use has to go through a sewage plant. Using electric power plants burn fossil fuel. Releasing pollutants.

  1. In Spain there is now a drought. • Planting of crops that are heavily irrigated. • Water intensive use on golf courses. • These all are ways we use to much water!

  3. Using hot water also uses energy • Remember all that the next time you use water!

  4. About 20 % of California’s water comes from The Colorado River. • The more our population increases the more the water decreases

  5. A drought has occurred recently in The Colorado River changing that 20% to 50%. • REMEMBER the more our population increases the more water decreases!
