  1. RGB is HERE!

  2. RGB Minleon • Tale of Two Extremes • Simple ‘Homeowner’ Usage • Complex Commercial Application • Christmas Decor Application • Customized to Projects • Systematic Installation Process • Hands Free for Customer • *Address Multiple Holidays * Increased Value, Perceived Affordability

  3. RGB CD Progression • 2013 Testing Year • Tested 2 projects in Lubbock • Issues – Data, Timer Reset, Training Deficiency • Late Delivery • 2014 Broad Testing Year • New Mini Controller with 5 sec delay – data integrity • New Remote – advances ALL effects • Established Clear Set of Rules and Key Components Required for CD application • Recommending 1-2 projects this season • Delivery is Mid-September

  4. RGB is Coming (Is Here) • RGB Can NOT be Ignored • Strongly Recommend 1-2 projects per Franchise This Season • Refine Design, Installation Processes • Understand Marketability • RGB Focus Group • CD will select 10 franchisees to serve as a focus group on RGB • This group may provide more RGB projects including more complex commercial applications • Feedback will be used for a full RGB launch in 2015 Christmas Decor can OWN RGB in the eyes of consumers!

  5. YOUR options for RGB • Residential • 500 Light Package - 500 15” spaced C7 RGB lights, transformers, connectors, remotes etc • Focus on only Roof lines and Stakes • Limited Trees on Lights kits available • Commercial • Multiple 500 light packages as needed • Minleon will work directly with you on more complex applications • Light Trees great application for commercial – use tricklets - 12’ Trees ideal as 25 lights sets at 6” spacing are stock Christmas Decor can OWN RGB in the eyes of consumers!

  6. RGB Lighting Products Triklets • Can NOT be spliced • Best for Trees of Lights • Cost of $4 a bulb C7 - 15” Spaced – Roof and stakes • Can NOT be spliced • Use various lengths for customization (2,5,10,25 bulb count) • Works with bottom hole of speed clips and stakes • Cost of $1.75 a bulb (w all considerations just under double normal C9 lights)

  7. Power / Data Components POWER T Obsolete Mini Controller 5 sec data delay Back Flow for Power infusion Splitting Power/Data Sender/Receiver Jumpers 5,10,25’ Expander Box 16 Port – Only at Primary Power T-Way

  9. RGB Rules RGB Lighting displays are complex deliveries that incorporate the flow of both DATA and Power. In order to achieve full effects, and obtain proper working order, power and data must be managed appropriately. The following set of rules will satisfy 90% of situations you may encounter and will reduce the occurrence of field issues that translate into displays • Freezing • Displaying inconsistent effects • Non working sections • Other “Unidentified” Errors.

  10. RGB Rules • 100 RGB C7s = 3.5 AMPs • 100 RGB Lamps MAX in an aggregate run. You may split them w T-way. Data issues beyond this length (must use sender/Receiver beyond 100) • 20 feet MAX before first bulb from the Mini Controller (or must use Sender/Receiver) • Sender & Receiver • Used in conjunction with a 4 WIRE SPACER (25, 50 lengths) • Sender/Receiver & 4 Wire Spacer should be <300 GROSS feet • Sender/Receiver may be “split” with T-way as long as total aggregate length is under 300 feet • 1. Use when 1st bulb over 20 feet away from mini controller • 2. Use to Inject Data When aggregate run over 100 feet

  11. RGB Rules • ALL Projects require a detailed project map with the following data: • Power Requirements - Total Bulb counts Times .035 Amps • Primary Power Location Designated • Measurements of EVERY roof straight edge segment • Define contiguous segments • Crew must Have Adequate Supply of: • RGB Lights (2,5,10,25 lights sets) • Spacers (5,10,20’ lengths) • Sender/Receivers w/ 4 Wires Spacer (length) • Power Supplies (likely only need one 30 Amp but 2-5 Five Amp transformers) • Mini Controller (Location & Model) • Data Signal Directional Flow Final Products needs determined on site so a variety of lengths of lights and spacers are key.

  12. Key Connections If lights added here can only total 100 Max Sender/Receiver – When data over 100 feet from last light T-Way Mini Controller Lights Spacer More Power Spacer T-Way DATA 100 RGB Lights Max 5 AMP POWER 100 RGB Lights Max ADD POWER

  13. Remote Power C1-C3 define colors E1 – Effect One (Steady)(1-4 use set colors) E2 - Effect Two (Twinkle – on/off) E3 - Effect Three (Colored Glow - vary) E4 - Effect Four (Color Chaser) E5 – Effect Five (Light show) S - Speed B – Scroll of ALL effects M – Memorized effect (5th option)

  14. RGB Design Guidlines RGB Lamps aesthetically perform best on roof lines, both fascia and ridge and stake lighting, effectively the top and bottom spectrum of a lighting job. • Identify the best flow for the job - think of everything in a ‘chasing’ mindset • Right/left – Blake Roof • Center cascade – Blake Stakes • Top/ bottom – Massengale Projects • Group fascia and ridge lines of similar shape and lengthfollow the afore determined “flow” (never over 100) • Group stake lighting of similar shape and length • Match color to • Customer preference • Holiday • Event • Select motion to • Customer preference • situation
