  3. How to conjugate verbs • To form these • Go to the 2nd principle part (amare) • Cut off the “re” at the end • What’s left is called the stem (ama) • Slap on the endings

  4. How to Conjugate Future • So amō, amāre, amavī, amatuslooks like this:

  5. How to Translate • The future tense has 1 possible translation in English; amabo is: •  I shall love • So the others are translated: • amabis = you will love • amabit = he/she/it will love • amabimus = we shall love • amabitis = you will love (y’all) • amabunt = they will love
