  3. Platypus The platypus (Ornithorhynchusanatinus) is a semi-aquatic mammal endemic to eastern Australia, including Tasmania. Together with the four species of echidna, it is one of the five extant species of monotremes, the only mammals that lay eggs instead of giving birth to live young. It is the sole living representative of its family (Ornithorhynchidae) and genus (Ornithorhynchus), though a number of related species have been found in the fossil record. Platipus adalah hewan semi-akuatik yang banyak ditemui di bagian timur benua Australia. Walaupun Platipus bertelur tapi ia tergolong ke dalam kelasMammalia karena ia menyusui anaknya. Platipus juga sering dikenal dengan nama duck-billed Platypus atau Platypus berparuh bebek disebabkan bentuk paruhnya yang menyerupai bebek.

Luckilynow the animals have been protected by law in Australia.platypus is one of Australia's most cryptic creatures, feeding at night and living in deep waterside burrows to dodge predators such as foxes and eagles.From the analysis, it was revealed that until 1960, Platypus habitat is generallydetermined by amount of rainfall.After 1960, these animals disappeared from the area where the temperature is in general have increased.

  5. Why platypus endangered? Maybe some of you are asking why platypus endangered? It is because many years ago platypus have many hunters. They kill platypus for platypus fur. Not just because of that, now it is because global warming too! Australia, which was home to the platypus in the near future will be too hot untilthey are no longer able to survive there. As we know, platypus have a very warm fur and it is very important. Because they spend 10 hours/day in the water. These advantages would make platypus endangered by the climate change in the world. which has been heating temperature in Australia too, australia predicted to heat up by 5° Celsius (9° F). It’s added with one problem , their fur are very warm and now it’s make them feel too hot and uncomfortable to stay. Do you want platypus become extinct? You don’t want right? So lets help platypus and other animals with stop global warming !

It is some step that we can do to stop global warming and help platypus that I made. Let’s help platypus,other animals/plants,us,and our earth. Earth is our home, our place to stay.
