  4. New Foaming or Fizzing Gas Example: Baking soda and vinegar react to form a new foaming gas, carbon dioxide.

  5. Formation of New Precipitate Example: Lead Nitrate solution and Potassium Iodide solution react to form a new solid.

  6. Release of Energy Example: Fireworks exploding release light, heat, and kinetic (sound) energy.
