  2. Introduction • Many disaster occur in recent years • DVI teams must respond systematically • All facilities and technologies available must be used

  3. Dental radiology • PM-r/g image was affect by several factor • Portable/handheld dental x-ray unit preferred • Nomad® has circular lead-filled shields to prevent radiation leakage (<1% dose limit) • Many other tech for x-ray unit develop

  4. Facial reconstruction • Despite huge info obtain in unidentified body, its no use if PM ≠ AM • For unrecognisable corpse, cranio-facial reconstruction (CFR) should be considered • 3D CFR are being used; req ↑ anat expertise • Computer-based CFR were used – consistent • Computer can stored many data at same time  CFR accessible w/o extensive expertise

  5. Virtual autopsy • 3D imaging being used by many institutions around the globe eg. USA, Swiss • Virtopsy – non-invasive/minimally invasive approach technique, provide precise finding, can be used in courts • Also improve quality of image data • Improve judicature in culture w low autopsy accpetance (d.t min invasive) • PE should still be performed (some case)
