Course development • There are three courses presently under development; English Language Arts A10, English Language Arts 20 and Mathematics C30. • These classes are scheduled to go on line September, 2007. • Teachers are given ¼ time release for two semesters to develop a new course. With a 197 day school calendar, that equals 197 class hours. • Normally, the teacher who develops the course goes on to teach the course. • On average, it has taken 400- 600 hours to develop a new course.

  11. Course updates • No time is set aside for teachers to undertake course updates or course modification. Teachers modify and update their courses as necessary on their own time.
