  3. 2. The reason why this was built？ • This was built to pray for the safety of fishermen and sailors.

  4. 3. About the name. • Why does this shrine have another name is that the shape of the pine looks like hand putting as a pillow.

  5. 4. How does this shrine help the community？ • This shrine offers summer festivals to the local community and they are loved by the community for a long time. At the summer festival, they throw rice cakes as their one of the activities.

  6. Reasons and Impressions • The reasons why I researched about this shrine. The first reason is that I live very close to the Sumiyoshi shrine and I look around there many times and I went festivals many times since I was a child. • Impressions It was good experience and it became a very good study. Because I also found many new things that I did not know until now even though I live very close and joined many festivals.
