STPI-Datacomm Services STPI has got the permission for installation and operation of International Gateway • STPI has got Class “A” Internet Service Provider license. • STPI formed the Strategic Business Alliance with three International Long Distance Operators (ILDOs). • To provide the data communication in remote location, STPI has got the commercial VSAT license. • STPI is in the process of getting license from Ministry of I & B for Teleport (Video Uplinking) services.

STPI Incubation Facility • For the promotion and development of start up units and SMEs, STPI provides the incubation facilities, which include: • Ready to use built up space and basic amenities. • Internet Enabled Workstations • Market Information • Business Centre • Conference and training facilities • More than 4,00,000 sq.ft of space available with STPI across the country for the incubation facility.

STPI : Consultancy – International • Implementation of Ebene Cyber City at Mauritius • Conceptualization, Design and Project Management of Communication infrastructure for the Ebene Cyber City • Identification of Technology , Global tendering , Implementation of the communication systems • Deployed first ever Passive Optical Network (PON) based FTTB network for Technology Park in Africa • A converged network supporting multiple services and multiple service providers • Created a state of the art Network Operation Center • Developed the strategy for operation and management of communication services

National Internet Exchange of India • STPI has set-up Internet Exchange points in India. • This would enable exchange of domestic Internet Traffic within NIXI. • STPI has made available the infrastructure at four locations at NOIDA, Mumbai, Kolkatta and Chennai • The internet exchange point in Noida(Delhi), Mumbai and Chennai are already commissioned.

CERT- In The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) is being set up under the aegis of Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT), Department of Information Technology (DIT) to ensure that India’s information assets such as; strategic, commercial, financial and Government are provided necessary protection, and India’s IT infrastructure is appropriately and adequately protected to counter threats to its resources and stable operation.
