  13. Program Teams • Have a special skill and want to share it? Join a Program Team! • Program Teams are groups of people county/regionally based who work with a member of council to create and run programs/camps. • Contact gpennline@gswpa.org or 800-248-3355 x1007 to inquire and be directed to the most appropriate Camp/ Program Manager.

Camp SMORE • *New* S’MORE the Camp Edition! • S’MORE will feature only Summer camp opportunities (i.e. Resident, CORE & Day Camp), camp fun facts & forms for registration • There will be 3 S’MORE publications throughout the year • Should be in member’s hands in late December • Can more clearly promote Girl Scout camp experiences earlier in the year and create goal setting opportunities.

Service Unit CORE Camp • Allow a council Camp Pathway Manager to plan and coordinate with your SU camp committee all aspects of you SU camp. • Have options of activities, all instructors, food, health care, and facilities taken care of for you by camp staff. • Customized and created from your input and with your theme in mind.

  18. Purpose of Site Teams Participate in the maintenance and community resource identification for a council camp property to increase member and nonmember use of GSWPA camps. Our strategic goal with site teams and girl member that enrollment is to show donors that property will teach the girls our most important outcomes in preparing them for lifelong skills and expand their networks.

  19. Responsibilities: • Analyze and interpret pertinent information in order to be part of the decision- making team on current and future GSWPA maintenance projects. • Compile an outlined scope of maintenance work which will define the age- appropriate criteria for groups performing bronze award and journey projects at GSWPA camps. • Provide input and feedback to identify community resources that can be approached to donate human, material, or monetary resources to address property maintenance needs

  20. Responsibilities Cont’d • To mentor girl site team members to reach the learning outcomes outlined in the team’s objectives. • To participate in property development based upon data and plans presented by the marketing and program site teams.
