2. How do you describe the story of the Bible in just 8 words:

3. 1st Word: CREATION Genesis 1:1 says: "In the beginning GOD created the heavens and earth." Through creation, God gave us a choice to believe he exists or not... Did He create everything OR did it all just "happen on its own"? Do we see Him as a God of love who wants to be our God and us His people in a close intimate relationship or will we reject Him? We were created for RELATIONSHIP with Him!

4. 2nd Word: BROKENNESS We have the FREE WILL to love andserve God. While created in a perfectrelationship with God, the 1st man and women chose to rebel against God. This brought BROKENNESS into God'sperfect creation. Everyone since, has been doing thesame thing. God calls this "SIN". BROKENNESS comes from SIN.Sin always leads to DEATH. Death is separation from God, 1st spiritually, then physically…… for eternity! Proverbs 14:12 There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.

5. 3rd Word: PROMISE Adam & Eve should have died fortheir sin, but instead God gave themthe PROMISE of a Savior, one whowould pay the penalty they justlydeserved. We too as sinners DESERVE to be separated from God for eternity. Since it is impossible for God to lieabout his promise of a Savior, we too have a HOPE and a FUTURE with God. Hebrews 6:18-19 We who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls.

6. 4th Word: COVENANT God and Abraham entered into a permanent COVENANT. The 10 commandments or "instructions" are God's GUIDE POSTS on how to live life to receive the maximum blessings under the covenant. God's Part: Love us, protect & providefor us, to save us from our sin and bringus home to be with Him for eternity. Our Part: In faith, love God and obeythe Guide Posts of His Word, LIVING IN COVENANT RELATIONSHIP with Him. To do that, Jesus is not just our "Savior", but we have declared Him LORD of our lives. This means totally surrendering to that covenant relationship with Him....Living 24/7 to please God....... 100% passionate for Him! I will be your God - You will be my people!

7. 5th Word: Rebellion Even though God's people wanted to live in a relationship with God.... they lived in a broken and evil world greatly influenced by the power of sin. They gave into that sin over and over, doing evil in the sight of God. When they wouldn't listen to the warnings He sent, God allowed consequences to happen. We too rebel against God's covenant instructions and experience consequences for our sins. BUT IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THAT WAY. HEAR HIS CALLING AND REPENT – TURN BACK TO GOD BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!

8. 6th Word: Grace Grace is unmerited favor given to us even though we don't deserve it. Jesus is a picture of Grace becausehe died to pay our sin penalty so we wouldn't have to. Because of this we can have complete forgiveness of all sins...past-present-future and be reconciled back to God. God declares us NOT GUILTY of sineven though we are sinners throughHis Grace... We don't deserve it! This grace is offered to us as a free gift. But we must receive this gift by faith, trusting Jesus for our salvation, based only on what He has done for us. There is nothing we can do to earn it! When you stand before God and He asks you "WHY SHOULD I LET YOU INTO MY HEAVEN?“ or"WHO IS JESUS TO YOU?"... How will you respond? Your eternity depends on your answer!

9. 7th Word: HOLY SPIRIT He is the power of God by which people become believers in Christ and see with new eyes of faith. He is fully God and lives in the heartsof those who are Born Again. He convicts us of sin and points us tothe work of Jesus so we can repent. He teaches us the ways of God andintercedes with God for us in prayerwhen we don't know what to pray. He empowers us to live a Godly life by changing us to be more like Jesus, by giving us spiritual gifts, and helping us fulfill what God wants to do in and through our lives! He is God's way of guaranteeing our eternal inheritance. The fruit of the Spirit in our lives is: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-control.

10. 8th Word: Eternity Eternity: Forever...Never Ending Our bodies will all die, but our Soulwill continue on for ETERNITY! The only question is WHERE? The Bible declares that IF we have arelationship with Jesus, our soul willlive for eternity with God in Heaven, a place of perfection complete with all of God's blessings. The Bible also declares that those who reject what Jesus has done them,will spend eternity in eternal punishment, away from God and all His blessings. Hell is NOT a place to party. It is a place of "darkest blackness", misery for eternity. Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. Not making a decision FOR Jesus is automatically making a decision AGAINST Him!

11. To be saved & be with God for eternity you must: Matt 7:13-14 13 "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

12. Romans10:9-10 9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord(your final authority for all of life) and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, (He died for your sins & over came death)you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.

13. Know that you’re a sinner… Know that you need a Savior… Know Jesus is that Savior… Repent of your sin… Turn from your sin to God Invite Him to take control of your life... Declare Jesus as your Personal Savior & Lord of your life…
