  2. 1) What Is Marketing? • Marketing is about identifying and meeting human and social needs. One of the shortest good definitions of marketing is “meeting needs profitably. 2) Discus information marketing and give real world examples identify the type of information sold legally and not? • Information marketing is about creating, promoting and selling information products. Humans also have strong needs for recreation, education, and entertainment. • A person in Afghanistan needs food but may want rice, lamb, and carrots. • Our wants are shaped by our society • Demands are wants for specific products backed by an ability to pay.

It's often focused on a specific period of time. • Purpose of a Marketing Plan Marketing strategy is the section of your business plan that outlines your overall game plan for finding clients and customers for your business.
