  2. Landscape • Ethiopia has got crops and fields full. Afracai has many types of landscapes. They include vas deserts sweeping savannahs, and lush rainforest. East Africa has lots of mountins and lakes. Woodlans and grassy plans cover much of Africa's centre.

  3. Weather • The equator cut through the middle of the continent, so Africa's climate is mostly warm • Or hot. However, temperatures become lower • At high altitudes. This means weather in Africa's mountain areas can be cold. Even though mount Kilimanjaro is near the equator • It peak is capped with ice all year long.

  4. Plants • Many plants have ways to survive the fierce heat and Africa and dry air of African deserts. Some have routs that reach more than 40 metters (130 feet) into the earth to find hidden water. Others store water for later use.

  5. Crops and farming • Agriculture is the most is the most important • Business in Africa. some people grow food to feed themselves. Others grow plants that they can sell to make money these plants are • Called cash crops.

  6. Animals • Deserts may look empty, but they are full of life. scarab beetles scuttle across sands. Slithering snakes hunt for rodents. Desert hedgehogs peek out from underground burrows.
