  3. Constituents: essential oil, secoiridoids, coumarins, furanocoumarins, tannins, phenolic acids. Actions: carminative, antispasmodic, cholagogue, warms and tonifies the spleen, warms and moves the heart.

  4. Uses: digestive weakness, deficiency of the spleen Qi and Yang, poor appetite, phlegm in the lungs and sinuses, depression. Dose: Tinctura Angelicae, 15 - 25 drops, three times per day.
