  1. Hard X-ray micro-Analysis Beamline (06ID-1): Initial Commissioning N. Chen1, L. Zhang2, G. Korbas2, D.T. Jiang3 1. CLS; 2. Geological Sciences Dept. U of Saskatchewan; 3. Physics Dept., U of Guelph Experimental stations Optics HXMA BL: Superconducting wiggler-based multiple purpose hard X-ray beamline (5 – 40 keV). User Communities: XAFS, microprobe, and diffraction. Current Status: BL optics installation was started in Sept. 2004, completed in May 2005. The first mono beam was delivered into the experimental hutch on April 30, 2005 and first XAFS spectrum at Cu K-edge was recorded on July 8, 2005. Commissioning and limited amount of general user experiments in progress.
