  4. The Washington Wizards!! The Washington Wizards happen to be my favorite team in the NBA The franchise is also home to my favorite NBA player John Wall. (Trotman) Verizon Center

  5. Location Formerly known as the MCI Center, the venue opened in 1997 and is located in the Chinatown portion of Washington, D.C.’s downtown area (About Verizon Center). (Gaines) Verizon Center

  6. I have been to the Verizon Center to see the Wizard’s play numerous times. I love basketball and the most amazing feeling is watching the sport I love, in person, at the highest level. Even though the Wizards have not been to the playoffs in years, there are many other events held at the Verizon Center and Attendance to the Wizard’s games has still been steady the past few years.
