  3. grammar workshop: quotations/italics (497-99, 507-09) exercise on p. 499 exercise on p. 509 handout - What do we do with titles?

  4. review essential definitions groups of two Write responses (in complete sentences where applicable) for each item in the exercise on p. 214. Be prepared to share. (10 points)

Share pop culture reviews • When you hear/see your text, come to the front. • State your name and the relevant information about your “text.” (e.g., musical artist, name of album) • You summarized a published review of your chosen text. Briefly tell us what the review says about the text. (e.g., The Rolling Stone review really loves the new Beastie Boys album because …) • What does your review say about the text? (e.g., I also really love this album because …) • Place your papers on the table and sit down.
